Renovation of the seaside promenade near the Maspalomas Lighthouse
The renovation works on the seaside promenade around the Maspalomas Lighthouse, a key project for the revitalization and improvement of this strategic area of Maspalomas Costa Canaria. The works include repaving the promenade and pier section, rebuilding the sea-facing seating areas, converting the stairs that connect to Maspalomas Beach into a five-metre-wide access ramp, and upgrading the public lighting installations.

Maspalomas Gran Canaria Consortium signs the agreement with Lopesan Asfaltos y Construcciones for the execution of the project.
The first technical site visit has taken place, coinciding with the start of the works, which began with the installation of perimeter fencing around the project area and the complete demolition of the existing pavement. The current surface shows significant deterioration due to its age and constant exposure to maritime weather conditions and wave action.
